tonite's care group was very good, our beloved leader billy linked Isa 40:31 '... to wait on the Lord ...' with Rom 5:1-5 '... hope does not disappoint ...'

he expounded on the root word of 'wait' (quvah) which means 'to expect, to hope'

he also quoted examples on 'wait on the Lord' from Ps 37:7 & Ps 39:7 which tells us to rest, wait patiently, do not fret (for Singaporean, don't complain) - though we might still face troubles while waiting (Rom 5:3)

once again we have a great feasting tonite, thanks to billy & hannah. just look at the amount of chicku ... after having hor fun, fishballs, kfc chicken, coleslaw, potato paste, bbq chicken wings, salads, watermelon, white fungus dessert, moon cake ...

i was so charged up by billy's recent sharing on how the verse in prov 4:18 turning his financial from borrowing to blessing (after knowing that he's the righteousness of god in christ)

indeed we are so blessed to be the righteous ... our days can only get brighter & brighter, not just knowing by our heads but experiencing in our real lives

today i was listening to pastor mark's message on how powerful we are as christians ...

in the afternoon, i put it to practise. i told god that i don't feel like meeting a client, which was scheduled at 6.30pm. about an hour or so, my client called to postpone the meeting & apologised some more. at that moment, i felt so powerful, whatever i say will happen!!! PTL

after last friday's bs, i asked god: i know abel offered blood sacrifice whilst cain didn't ... but why blood? why not money or prayer etc.

guest what, today the answer came from my sweet wife. " ... blood means life lah!! ..." - short & sharp

wow, with this kind of wife, how not to be blessed??
